Tangled Up In Blue


In this summer season of fresh berries, I am loving all the menus here in Atlanta that feature blueberries.    For dinner at Miller Union the other night, there was a dish of roasted pork with them.  I have done a pork tenderloin with a cherry glaze but I had not previously thought of using fresh blueberries instead.


However - the item on the menu that really said summer to me was the cocktail "Tangled Up in Blue" containing gin, blueberries, lemon and ginger.   Not only did I love the allusion to the Dylan song which has always been a favorite of mine...  but the drink just tasted like I was sipping summertime!    This recipe will now stand beside Pimms cup as a cocktail I associate with refreshing drinks to be enjoyed with friends hanging out on a porch during a hot summer day.
