Pastry dances

Are these Broadway desserts?   Dancing Pastries?   Fancy treats for a cotillion?

I don't know but I want to find out.  And I will find out soon.

I apologize for the blurry photo but you are not supposed to take pictures in the farmers market.   I was trying my best to be stealth while recording these delicious looking little guys.   Also - I was having a hard time not giggling too loud and thus drawing attention to myself taking the picture with my phone.

Furthermore, I am sorry that I did not get a detailed description of this dessert while I was there.   The look good but are probably difficult to eat without making a mess.   Sadly, I find this to be a fairly important element to my enjoyment of any food item.   It just doesn't taste as good when half of it ends up in my lap or smeared across my plate in such a way that I cannot eat it.  Even if you are not a klutz, you know the kinds of food I am talking about.   And it seems to happen more often with desserts than any other part of the meal too!
